Talks with the Friend
I would like to devote this conversation to children. The current statistics are disappointing (according to the media): 25% of pregnancies end in abortion. Every fourth woman goes for it without hesitation.
- Is abortion a sin?
- Abortion equates to murder.
- If abortion is a “medical indication”, then what to do?
- Medical indication? When my wife was pregnant, the doctor said her to do an abortion. "Your child will be sick". God in Olenivka said that everything is fine. And my son was born healthy and strong. Now he is 18. He never has visited doctors, like all my grandchildren. If you live according to the Commandments of God and pray, there will be no indication.
- If a woman was raped and she became pregnant, does this justify an abortion?
- A woman was raped for the sins of her or her ancestors. Abortion is her sin.
- How do unborn children affect those who are born?
- Unborn children ask God to punish "parents" and their descendants for abortion. If the "parents" do not repent, then punishment is inevitable. Living children should put candles for the repose of the souls of unborn brothers and sisters. The souls of unborn children go to heaven because they are sinless. In Paradise, they are separate from the souls who have lived an earthly life and had earned Paradise through good deeds and had gone through many trials.
- Do unborn children (miscarriage, non-developing pregnancy) effect on their born brothers and sisters?
- In the case of miscarriages, there may be no direct fault of the mother, therefore, there can be no strong punishment. If a woman lived according to the Commandments of God and prayed to God, then God would not allow a miscarriage.
- Is refusing a child a sin? If, let's say, biological mother, find adoptive parents and give children to them? And if the child is left in the hospital?
- By abandoning children, the mother abandons her prosperous old age. Parents are required to do everything needed for the normal life of their kids. Then they have the right to count on the help of kids in old age. Even the thought of abandoning a kid is a sin. When my son was born and the first time I went for a walk with him, I left the entrance with the thought that "I am 38 years old, why do I need this baby?"
A few minutes later I sent this thought away. When my son was 3 years old, I went with him for a walk. At the same place, he told me
- You didn't want me.
I said:
- When I did not want you?
- When I was here in an old stroller.
I borrowed that stroller from my niece and returned it after 2 months when I bought a new one for my son. My son did not know about the existence of the old stroller. In that way, God showed that even the thought I had was the sin.
